I’m Ryan Limbeck, and I’ve been performing music for nearly 25 years. I started out playing trombone exclusively throughout middle and high school, then started playing guitar shortly after graduating high school in 2004. I played both trombone and guitar throughout my college years, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music/Jazz Studies at Western Michigan University for one year, and finishing at Grand Valley State University as a dual-instrumentalist in their bachelor of arts program. I have performed with several West Michigan musical groups including but not limited to:

In addition to the amazing groups above, I have had the privilege of performing for two contracts with Celebrity Cruises on both guitar and trombone, which provided me the unique opportunity to perform with incredible musicians from all over the world.

As much as I love performing with others, it has always been a dream of mine to perform solo. However, I did not want to make any compromises with this project—I am a trombonist, guitarist, and a vocalist, and I wanted to bring all of this to my audiences in a special way. The Ryan Band is the result of my efforts, culminating not only in solo guitar/vocal but also utilizing a detailed set of tracks that I created personally beginning three years prior to the launch of this project. The end result allows me to provide for my listeners the full extent of my musical ability, entirely solo.
